Twenty early-career scientists from across East Africa begin a year-long journey in rigorous health research.
This month we welcomed twenty new fellows to our flagship capacity-strengthening program. Drawn from six countries, the cohort will spend a year developing research proposals, conducting fieldwork and preparing manuscripts under the mentorship of senior scientists.
The fellowship has now trained more than 200 early-career African researchers, many of whom have gone on to lead their own studies and institutions.
